Sissy is a spunky, sweet, &  typical (of her breed) tiny tyrant.. though she would dispute the tiny part if you ask her!!   

  HRH Princess Sissy  insists her food must be gourmet, tasty, varied & possibly even human food if your willing?   If not she can be a pickle & refuse to eat, which the vet says isn't the greatest for tiny dogs' blood sugar (even if they aren't diabetic).  We think Sissy heard doc say this, because she smirked & licked her lips the whole ride back from the office.   

Sissy says a small dog buddy would be fantastic, but she is willing to consider life as single dog for the right family.  Lap time & cuddles are a must.  Large dogs or small humans are bleh & to be barked at until they go away.   She is housetrained & OK on a leash, so an apartment would be acceptable to Sissy..... though she may make you carry her up any stairs (doesn't every princess?).

SISSY is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
