LINUS is a typical goofy beagle.   He enjoys eating, playing, & get into mischief if not given enough distraction (see also: raid trashcans!)

He is housetrained & okay on a leash. Crates aren’t his favorite thing, but he wont raise a huge stink over the matter and would probably do fine in an apartment.    Cats are fun to sniff & chase, but a dog-savvy cat would probably be OK.   People of all types are awesome, especially little ones & anyone who has food bowls or snacks to share.

Linus loves to run, so will do best in a home with a fenced yard or local dog park where he can exercise & explore. A dog buddy would be fantastic, but is willing to consider life as single dog for the right family.

LINUS is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
