Annie is a beautiful little Dachshund rescued from a puppy mill. She is very sweet, calm, and gets along great with dogs & cats. However, Annie is still quite timid & shy around most humans.  She tries very hard to please, but needs love and patience from owner willing to help teach Annie how to act like a normal dog.

Annie is smart, fully housetrained, crate trained, & does great riding in the car.   She is still working to learn how to walk on a leash... so an adopter that will commit to continued training/practice (and perhaps even classes with a trainer) would be beneficial to help Annie gain confidence & thrive.
